FASTfire BRONZclay is a non-toxic metal clay product used by jewellery artists and craftspeople to create unique jewellery, models, prototypes, sculptures and decorative items.Anything you can image can be sculpted, formed or moulded using this clay. Metal Clay safe gemstones and other items can be embedded in the wet clay and fired together. After firing, the metal can be polished and finished. The final product is solid metal because the clay is made of real metal powder.
FASTfire BRONZclay is also very affordable which means it can be used to sculpt large pieces and create specialized tools. It can even be thrown on a potter's wheel to form bronze hollow ware.
FASTfire BRONZclay can be pinched, rolled, sculpted and manipulated. In its dried state, it is still highly flexible and easy to carve.It is an ideal canvas for applying detail and finishing touches prior to firing. After firing in a kiln, the solid, pure bronze object can be sawn, shaped, drilled, sanded, patinaed or soldered using traditional jewellery tools and techniques.FASTfire BRONZclay is an exciting medium that only shrinks 10% and offers a new world of possibilities for jewellery makers, artists and sculptors.
