Cone Testing Kit

Have you tested your kiln lately? Every time you fire your kiln, the thermocouple, which reads the temperature, oxidizes and deteriorates. It may say that you are firing to 1650 degrees, but in all reality it may be firing much higher. Every 3-6 months you should test your kiln to make sure you do not need to adjust the firing temperature. Cone testing kits include 6 cones and 3 nichrome wire stands. Enough for 2 firings. Once you've used the cones, keep the nichrome wire stands and just reorder the replacement cone kit. The stands should last for years. This comes with complete instructions on how to test your kiln.
